How to create your own designer envelope

Today I am going to teach you how to make your own envelopes with your favorite design paper.

I like to make my own greeting cards. When you pair them with the corresponding patterned paper envelopes, you will find those real greeting cards "WOW'

What you need is some fancy paper and a scoreboard. In order to fit the standard card size to 4 1/4" by 5 1/2", you need to cut the envelope paper to 7 3/4" square.

Next you need a scoreboard and a diagonal scoreboard. I scored a scoreboard every 1/8" score and tag so I can remember that I scored on both sides of the envelope.

When you decide which side of your paper you want to be outside, make sure it faces the diagonal scoreboard. Then you want to take your score pen and pain 4 1/8" score line and then rotate the paper 90 degrees and score again at the 3 1/8" score line. Rotate 90 degrees again and score 4 1/8" and then, finally rotate again and score on the 3 1/8" score line.

Now you get a score line around the paper that overlaps. At these overlaps you will have a triangle. Use paper cutting and carefully cut out the triangle. Do this on all four sides of the paper.

After you remove the overlapping area, take a bone folder or a pencil and use the side of the folder [or pencil] to fold the score lines to make sure they fold over each other.

Once you wrinkle these score lines, you can open the flaps. Fold on both sides and add a small amount of SNAIL adhesive or glue stick. Then fold the bottom flap to bond it to the sides you prepared with the adhesive. In addition, I also want to trim the bottom flap so that the point will fall off and a beautiful flat or rounded bottom will be left at the opening of your envelope.

Your envelope is now ready. Envelopes of this size fit your standard A2 greeting card size, and when they receive not only hand-made hand-printed cards, but also coordinated hand-made envelopes, it will impress your family and friends.
