China Jianzi Zingdezhen porcelain

The Shire Desert, the Gulf and the Gulf, the Algonquin River and my favorite Himala bird flying, flying singing, flying the Catalan kingdom and the balanced balance of the birds in the Kings Town - Uncle-Tching. A burning town, or seemingly like this, - 3,000 stoves are constantly lit, filled with air, smoke uprising, rotating circulation, glare, jets and red flashes.

"Keramos", Author: Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, 1877 years.

Like Longfellow more than a hundred years ago, we went to the same porcelain factory town Cathay Pacific in the summer of 87. Today it is called Zingdezhen, Cathay is China, but the town still has more than a thousand stoves, some have a history of more than a thousand years. Zingdezhen is known as the world porcelain capital.

This is not easy, we went to Zingdezhen. First of all, we booked ourselves on the daily Yangtze River ship in Shanghai. It is romantic and exciting to board a relatively modern passenger and cargo ship at sunset. The railway bird watching outside our cabin holds a cup of fresh tea in our hands. We sail along the Whangpoa River and the shutters flap until the light comes out. These scenes come from the skyline of Shanghai and the docks around the world or the boats in the middle of the berth and the modern cruise ship in the gay flag, discharging passengers' ant traffic to the famous Bund. The ferry crosses the coast endlessly. The clumsy container ships were piled with toy-like boxes and then handed over to them to load barges and trucks. Rusty freighters and thousands of different small river crafts add an eclectic mix, and we sit next to the rails and exchange fun with our new friends in the next cottage.

Two afternoons later, we disembarked in Jiujany, a busy old port where emperors and entourage also docked centuries ago. They went to their favorite mountain resort in Laoshan. Even Mao Zedong has a villa in the cool forest of Lushan. If you are allowed during the visit, please spend a few days there. You can imagine yourself as one of the royal staff, or sitting at the desk of Mao, still with rice paper and brushes, waiting for further "slang". Hairy slippers and robes hang on a nearby hanger.

To the porcelain city, it is said that it is only three hours away from the road. We booked a small red taxi [this is a Polish car assembled in China]. It took only 6 hours to complete the partially completed road, and 6 barges crossed the river. We arrived. The ancient city of Zingdezhen.

The hotel building is located on a hill above a small lake and is a modern forest open space in China. The lobby, restaurant and entrance are crowded with merchants from all over the world, but mainly Hong Kong we are welcomed and settled in a delightful VIP suite. The living room is packed with upholstered furniture, tables and cabinets, and offers inevitable hot water thermos with local Chinese tea service. The bathroom has hot water from 5:00 to 9:00, and when we soak in the hustle and bustle of the road trip, we welcome a bathtub with ancient claw feet.

Our local guides accompanied us through the factory in the next few days to watch the exquisite porcelain that has been created in this remote city for more than a thousand years. Loved by the Chinese emperor, the Arab prince and the European royal family, porcelain art has entered every corner of the world. The Emperor of the Ming Dynasty had its own designated factory, using deep cobalt blue, while the Qing Dynasty liked the fancy yellow decorated with bright feathered phoenix birds. Still producing incredibly delicious eggshell porcelain. Khou Yin, the classic character of Guanyin Bodhisattva, Shou-Xing Lao symbolizes his longing for longevity with his bald head and long beard. Confucius is the most popular, each carved by talented artists.

Everyone loves the art form of porcelain. Porcelains can be used as a modest decorative vase and as a "display" that modern innovation allows. Zingdezhen porcelain heirloom elegant world homes and museums.

To take care of your porcelain, try the following:

For Bisque Porcelain without glaze, you need to handle it carefully. They can easily pick up the oil and dirt on their hands. It is recommended to handle them as little as possible. If you have to deal with them, be sure to wash your hands carefully. These enamel porcelains must never be soaked in water to clean them, they will absorb moisture. If necessary, choose to clean with a very light damp cloth or a soft cloth.

Ceramic porcelain is glazed [meaning shiny]. You should clean ceramic porcelain like Bisque porcelain.

The important thing to note here is to try not to get dirty with these porcelains. You can do this by treating them carefully or by treating them carefully.

It is great to have a background of where the best porcelain in the world comes from. If you get one of these works of art, I know that you will like it as much as I do.
