Chinese Astrology Sign - How are your three animal signs calculated?

I was asked a lot about Chinese astrology - especially since I have always planned to include it on my website but have not done so yet. There is a good reason for this. It is a simple fact that Chinese astrology is complex, and web pages need simple and fast assimilation. The single web page of Chinese astrology quickly turned into a few pages of detail. It is also very different from Western astrology, which uses different reference points for astronomy and culture. Most of us can say "I am a dragon / mouse / mouse, etc." and have a broad understanding of the general characteristics of the logo, but few of us will clearly understand their Chinese star signature and how to resolve, determined, Decide. Here, when we start the Year of the Rabbit [Metal, Yin], the 78th cycle [or 79th, depending on which calendar version you belong to] is a potted summary...

Western astrology is based on a simple twelve-month repetitive cycle - the zodiac. Chinese astrology has twelve zodiac signs of the zodiac - the Earth branch - but based on a sixty-year cycle. This mechanism is very simple: Chinese astrology and astronomy developed simultaneously, initially recognizing five major planets: Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter and Saturn. Astrology is attributed to the key elements of these planets - water [Mercury], Metal [Venus], Fire [Mars], Wood [Jupiter], Earth [Saturn]. Each of the twelve signs spans a year - this comes from Jupiter's orbit [11.86] - and each symbol has five elemental species [eg, water rat, metal rat, fire rat, wood rat, hamster]. 5 x 12 = 60. Simple? To some extent, yes. But the sixty-year cycle also comes from two separate but interacting cycles - the Earth branch, as mentioned above - Zodiac, Rat, Cow, Tiger, Rabbit [aka Cat], Dragon, Snake, Horse, Sheep [again Name ram or goat]], monkey, cock, dog and pig [aka wild boar] - and in this order; and ten days of dry - these are the five elements mentioned above, each element is ying and yang Form -5x2 = 10. Due to the 12 earth branches, they give us the animal's logo, which can be divisible by 2, each animal symbol is the yin or yang, which is called the polarity of the sign. Yinnian ends in an odd number, and Yang's number is in an even number. Although the sign of each animal is either yin or yang [rats are always yang, cows are also yin, for example], this is reconciled by the addition of elements. From 0 to 9, the order is metal, metal; water, water; wood, wood; fire; earth, earth. Yang and Yin, in order:

0 Jinyang

1 metal yin

2 water Yang

3 watery

4 Mu Yang

5 woody

6 火杨

7 fire

8 Earth Yang

9 earth yin

Therefore, the year ending in 0 is metal, the year of Yang, the year ending in 1 is the metal year - 2010 is the year of the Yang Metal Tiger, and 2011 is the metal metal rabbit. Until 2022, it will become Yang Shuihu will become the Year of the Tiger again. The tiger is always Yang. The rabbit will always be yin, and the next rabbit year will become a water rabbit in 2023. It will not become the Golden Tiger Year until 2060.

In their true order, the loop actually starts with a metal rat and ends with Earth Pig [Yin]. We are today entering the 28th year of the current 60-year cycle [78th cycle, or 79th cycle, depending on the calendar used]. Chinese astrology uses the Yin and Yang calendar, starting with Li Chun - literally means the beginning of spring, around February 4, this is what we call the Chinese New Year. It is important to remember, for example, that a person born in January 2011 was born at the end of the year for the purpose of Chinese astrology, that is, a metal tiger rather than a metal rabbit. Of course, this applies to every year.

These five elements are crucial in Chinese astrology, at least as important as animal signs, while the emphasis of yin and yang factors indicates the importance of the Trinity in Chinese astrology - Earth, Water and Heaven. Those who are familiar with the Book of Changes will not be surprised that elements in Chinese astrology are considered to exist. from

Just as you realize how important a metal tiger might be to a wood tiger or a water tiger, further complexity can arise. Putting people in the Chinese astrology system requires calculating the birthday, birth season/month and birth time. In addition to the year of birth, this means that a person's star signature in Chinese astrology is four sign. Three of them are key elements of anyone: -

1. The year of birth is related to a person's family background and social status, and is closely related to family ancestry. Grandparents are a more prominent cultural focus in Chinese society. As of today [February 4, 2011] its one [metal] rabbit year - remember that the order given above is the mouse, cow, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, sheep, monkey, cock , dog, pig. The Year of the Dragon will be brought in February next year.

2. The month or season of birth [note the different months of the Chinese calendar] determines the "inner animal" - this indicates that childhood growth has a transformative impact on the character and behavior of adult life.

See you in spring

Tigers from February 4th to March 5th, rabbits from March 6th to April 4th, and dragons from April 5th to May 4th.

See you in summer

Snakes from May 5th to June 5th, horses from June 6th to July 6th, and sheep from July 7th to August 6th.

Autumn brings

Monkeys from August 7th to September 7th, cocks from September 8th to October 7th, dogs from October 8th to November 7th.

See you in winter

Pigs December 7 to December 6, rats from December 7 to January 5 and Cattle From January 6th to February 3rd.

3. Birth time Decide on a person's 'secret animal' - from

3 am - 5 am tiger,

9 am - 11 am snake,

11 am to 1 pm horse,

1 pm - 3 pm sheep,

3 pm - 5 pm monkey,

5 pm - 7 pm cock,

7pm - 9pm dog,

9pm - 11pm pig

Birthdays also have some effects - each animal logo rules one day, but on the basis of 5 elements x 12 markers, each basic type of animal, which makes the 60-day foundation, things become complicated... this is More is the characteristics of daily predictions than the birth chart, which is beyond the scope of this article.

Interestingly, however, just as the two astrology looks the most diverse, the basic similarities become apparent. Western disciplines usually focus on the sun sign, regardless of the importance, significance, and contribution of the moon sign and the moon star in the birth chart. Good Western astrology also breaks down each sun into four "sub-markers" and can pay more attention to detail by observing actual days.

Chinese astrology focuses on temperament and character, and the interaction and pressure between these two aspects. The first is tendencies, tendencies and tendencies, while the second is actual behavior, habits and learning [current] tendencies. It seeks to identify natural, innate people, not through the variability and changing personality of life experiences, to find nature before nurturing, and to help us understand our lives by observing them. from
