Western medicine and Chinese medicine

During normal chats with dentist friends, we have different views on the efficiency of Western and Chinese medicine [or more commonly "TCM"]. She also couldn't agree with my suggestion that Chinese astrology studies like the eight-character [or four-column] and the Ziweidoushu [ZWDS] are useful for keeping fit.

For most people, Western medicine is scientific and widely accepted and is a mainstream tool for health and wellness. Here, it is their defect choice. Although I respect the progress made by Western medicine today, I have encountered enough cases, which has convinced me that TCM is the best choice for Western medicine in achieving good health. I would say that TCM is more effective in keeping people healthy, and Western medicine is better at treating patients. When people are seriously ill, natural Western medicine is a better treatment option.

What is my conclusion? Western medicine treats symptoms but does not find the source of the problem. For people with headaches, they usually have painkillers, but they don't solve the real cause of headaches. When a patient has a fever, they sometimes ask the patient to immerse in cold water or stay in a cold air-conditioned room to combat elevated temperatures. Supporters of Western medicine may challenge me to say why it is a big surprise when the disease is "cured." I will say that the symptoms may be cured, but the root cause of the disease will only be suppressed. The result is poor long-term health.

TCM is very different because it is designed to identify upcoming health defects. TCM recognizes that the body is made up of all related organs, and their yin and yang components determine how energy flows through the body's organs. Therefore, TCM correctly addresses the root causes of health problems, not just the symptoms of treatment. Rome was not built in a day, although we should expect our health problems to be completely cured by Chinese medicine practitioners in a short time. For those who have advanced to the advanced stages of the disease, I still advocate that they use Western medicine as a short-term treatment, but use TCM as a long-term backup solution.

When does Bazi and ZWDS work? They have the key to comprehensively diagnosing health problems and medical prescriptions. I firmly believe in the maxim that "prevention is better than cure." Before the onset of symptoms or disease, Bazi and ZWDS will be able to identify a person's inherent health deficiencies and medical problems. They can also help determine the feng shui aspect of the house or environment in which the person lives. Prevent this disease from entering. Understanding Bazi and ZWDS is also key to addressing comprehensive treatment. This is because patients may not be able to articulate medical problems clearly and clearly, and only TCM practitioners can understand how energy flows through the organs and their yin and yang susceptibility can achieve effective cure.

Opponents may still claim that I am stubborn about Western medicine. In my next article, I will share a few examples of how Western medicine failed, or how Chinese medicine's understanding of Bazi / ZWDS solves problems that Western medicine does not satisfactorily solve.
