SugarCane is one of the brands of Toyo Enterprises. Other brands of Toyo Enterprises - Sun Surf, Buzz Ricksons, John Seyerson, Tailor Toyo, StyleEyes, Indian Motorcycle and Whitesville also produce Japanese American vintage denim. The history of the brand began in 1977. In the 1980s, the brand began producing repro with other companies such as Evisu, SDA and Denime. However, SugarCane opposes the repro denim manufacturer known as the production of overalls. The custom jeans model from SugarCane can be divided into two directions - standard denim made in the US and Japan.

Standard jeans are made from cotton-blend fabric - 60% American cotton and 40% Zimbabwe cotton. The color of the denim is also standard rope dyeing. All stitching and back pocket patterns are hand-finished and therefore exclusive. In 2006, a silver-brown jeans model was made. However, any Japanese repro manufacturer can find a standard American jeans model. The distinctive feature of the SugarCane brand is its own product range.

In addition, this type of jeans is considered to be environmentally friendly. The Edo Ai model is stained with natural indigo and uses special bacteria. The pocket lining and jeans are decorated with Utagawa Kuniyoshi prints, and custom jeans made from SugarCane are real masterpieces. The pocket lining of Hawaiian jeans is similar to the pocket lining of rice and blue jeans with sashiko embroidery. It can be said that the jeans produced by Sugarcane are the most personalized Japanese jeans. Patches with turtles, green trim and green labels are a distinguishing feature of the series.

However, there are still many shortcomings in the fit of jeans - SugarCane is not a fashionable brand. Handmade in Denim for SC 40600 jeans, with all embroidered, ancient woodcut prints on pockets and bronze buttons. The SC 40601 custom jeans style is a 13-ounce elastic denim that is rugged and sturdy, resembling a home textile denim. The SC 40500 jeans style features a pocket-lined tattoo design, original jeans and standard jeans. The Japanese original collection also includes custom jeans in other colors. Use only natural colors - green tea, earth, persimmons and hay.

The SugarCane brand also produces denim shirts and jackets as well as special soaps for sugar cane jeans. Sugarcane fiber is rich in amino acids with antibacterial, antistatic, moisturizing and other beneficial effects, which is why bleach, enzymes and phosphates may be harmful to them.
