"Robby" is a low-cost Robinson Crusoe, just like the 1968 movie. It interprets two relatively unknown actors: Warren Raum and Ryp Siani. Ram plays the 10-year-old "Robbie", a boy trapped on the island. When he roamed the island looking for food and Shelter and wanted his parents, he met a naked boy named "Friday."
Although Robid remained on the island for a long time before being rescued, it must be assumed that it has passed in a few months because Friday can be learned when he sees him. Although Robbie teaches him English, how to play "Cowboys and Indians", and the importance of wearing clothes, Friday, his new friends how to fish, and how to swim.
Since the two boys grew up in completely different cultures [Roby, USA and Friday on the island], we saw that they had two very different attitudes toward clothing. Rose Island was completely exposed on Friday; it was completely unconstrained. Robbie, nine years old, is too big to "run without any pants." He can't figure out why his mother would allow him to walk barefoot on Friday.
When the two boys were rescued by a lonely sailor [never clearly explaining why the man sailed to this particular island], English was very good on Friday, and Robbie had lost all his restraints. These two boys are best friends and have learned many valuable lessons from each other.
Although the performance and storyline are not so good in this movie, it is still a watchable movie. Learn more about how children can quickly adapt to new situations and make new friends quickly.
