Practical Mind Tips - The Peak Consciousness Secret of Empedocles

Explore how to get rid of your thoughts. Read on and learn how to use this seemingly simple practice to greatly improve your understanding of the real situation.

By using visualization and inner world adventures to expand your intelligence and communicate with deeper parts of your mind, you can often find meditation and give you a deeper insight into your imagination.

However, these can often be used simply to reinforce your own point of view and be entertained like enlightenment.

The ancient Taoist Enlightenment is to remove the obstacles of clear perception, rather than adding more distorted thinking, allowing you to more accurately understand what is happening.

Count Korzybski, founder of General Semantics, also supports a similar view - using language rather than Taoist meditation. Korzybski recommends not using the word "yes" in words and thoughts. Nothing is 'other'.

Things do what they are doing, and once we say something, you will distort and abstract your opinion about it.

It no longer just appears before your senses, it is filtered out through your mindset. You have taken a step back from the actual experience and entered the sensory matrix of your own design.

Empedocles is an ancient Greek philosopher, a student of the Pythagoras mystery school and logician, who left a series of philosophical poems, including this interesting filter to destroy meditation.

You may find this to be one of the simplest but most challenging meditations. It does require concentration, but it will provide you with some very useful and interesting psychological advantages.

The exercise itself is like this - put all your attention on what you experience through the senses. All your senses, all at once. Also pay attention to what you see, hear, feel, taste and smell.

Once your attention drops a sensory channel, try to get it back to its original position, so you can get into a more and more conscious state, but be very focused on your immediate environment.

Sound is easy? Beat a fight!
