Baby boomers - people born between 1946 and 1964 - are more people in need of health care than ever before. Medical practitioners and pharmaceutical companies are focusing on pills, potions or surgery that baby boomers will use in the next 30-40 years. The irony is that most people tend to worry about their health after a major incident. The truth is that if we stay healthy, the aging process has little impact.
Baby boomers are expressing their concern about health status, not previous generations. However, in addition to traditional Western medicine [TWM], many people do not know where to find information and options.
Few people study too many side effects of prescription or over-the-counter [OTC] - not to mention prescription and over-the-counter medications designed to take over and hijack your body's biochemistry. Prescription and over-the-counter drugs can force blood pressure to drop/increase or force the liver to stop producing healthy cholesterol. In fact, prescription or over-the-counter drugs interfere with normal human metabolism, which is one of the reasons for prescription drug killing. However, traditional doctors rely on the unknown side effects of promoting overall health care to convince people that only prescription or over-the-counter drugs are safe. It's not that they are afraid of the side effects of overall health care - they are afraid that people are in good health and they won't prescribe a lifelong pill and potion business. Western medicine is profit driven.
If everyone knows they can use plant extracts, herbs, natural vitamins, minerals and supplements to prevent any disease, and peace of mind - the pharmaceutical and medical industries will collapse overnight.

Last but not least, if you use overall medical remedies or practitioners, don't let traditional doctors, pharmacists or your family and best friends intimidate you to believe that your life is at risk.
American Medical Association magazine Vol. On July 26, 2000, 284, an article was published on the tragedy of the traditional Western medicine [TWM] paradigm. Dr. Barbara Starfield of the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health described how the US healthcare system can lead to poor health. She said that doctors are the third leading cause of death in the United States, killing 250,000 people each year.
This information is a follow-up to the December 1999 report of the Institute of Medicine, but the data is difficult to quote because it is not in peer-reviewed journals. It is now published on JAMA, the world's most widely distributed medical journal.
Death every year:
1. 12,000 ----- Unnecessary surgery
2. 7,000 ----- Hospital medication error
3. 20,000 ---- other errors in the hospital
4. 80,000 ---- Infected in hospital -----
5. 106,000 --- non-error, negative effects of drugs
There are 250,000 iatrogenic deaths per year - deaths caused by doctors' activities, methods or treatments, especially complications of treatment - are horrendous! However, despite the opposite evidence, most people still believe that the medical community will "cure" them.
In a recent comparison, among the 13 countries, the 16 health indicators in the United States ranked 12th on average [second from the bottom]. The US ranking on several indicators is:
o 13th [last] is the percentage of low birth weight
Overall, neonatal mortality and infant mortality rank 13th 14
o 11th place in neonatal mortality
o Potential loss of life for many years [excluding external factors]
o Female life expectancy is 11 years old, male is 12 years old
Female is 15 years old, life expectancy is 10 years old, male is 12 years old
o Women's 40-year life expectancy ranked 10th, men ranked 9th
Female is 65 years old, life expectancy is 7 years old, male is 7 years old
o Women's life expectancy is 80 years old and men are 3 years old
o 10th place for age-adjusted mortality
A recent World Health Organization study confirmed the poor performance of the American medical community, which used different data and ranked the United States as the 15th among the 25 industrialized countries.
