What is the meaning of staying calm? It didn't tell us to sit there all day without moving. For example, some people may walk, but their ideas are good and clear. They did reach a state of calm that purifies the mind. Therefore, it is important that we do not misunderstand the true meaning of keeping calm.
We don't need to lock ourselves in a room and sit there all day. We always keep calm when we do things or talk. But the reason why most of us can't always stay calm is that we don't yet have the essence of calm. The first important step is to get rid of any form, not just sitting there trying to master Zen.
In this fast-paced world, it is not very good to sit there all day without movement. Because not all of our ideas are correct, locking ourselves in a room all day makes us confused. Sometimes, learning with others and combining our thoughts with their good principles can lead to a better understanding of life. We must understand and combine wise words and good principles to further enhance our understanding of life.
There is a Chinese proverb that "opening desire can bring true peace and comfort." It has the same meaning as "shooting as it is". Usually when we crave an object or someone, we feel uncomfortable, uncomfortable, and even painful, such as when you like a girl but never find the courage to ask her to go out. The desire to get close to this girl will become so strong that we start to feel uncomfortable, depressed and even painful. At this moment, the best way to eliminate this unnecessary pain is to forget her and let go of the desires we cannot achieve. Before we can do this, we will always be in pain, which is very undesirable. The worst thing is that she can't recover her love when she has her and loses others. It is not easy to forget and let go, as long as the mind still exists, you will always be in pain.
In order to get rid of any unnatural attachments, we must eliminate the troublesome thoughts from our minds. Then, whether we are in sports or at rest, we can really "focus". If we want to understand the embarrassing self, we must be fully aware of where our ideas are. No matter what we are doing, even if we are studying or working, we should always use our hearts. We should look at our inner self, feel our hearts, and communicate with them, because dust and dirt often cover our eyes of wisdom.
People's hearts often change like the weather. The weather can suddenly change from a hurricane to a calm, clear sky. The world is constantly changing; today things can be one-way, and tomorrow is another way. When we live in a diverse society, we find ourselves encountering strange and surprising things. This phenomenon is the ultimate result of the excessive development of science and technology. These over-developments make us feel that everything is growing fast, but we still will not give up the desire to pursue material. All these desires will exhaust us and produce some temporary fantasies of happiness and happiness. Once we have to slow down, we suddenly feel a sense of loss. Only we will know what this feeling is like; others will not.
As a practitioner of Tao, I understand that we need to have a legitimate mind and understand the nature of cause and effect. For example, if we provide something sincere, we usually get some good returns. Similarly, if we really want to cultivate, we need to take appropriate action. This includes respecting others and the elderly, taking care of our families, and correcting our wrongdoings and bad habits. Don't lose yourself because of jealousy or mischief. We also need to cherish ourselves and everything around us, because we are all deeply loved by God.
