The Five Elements Theory has been used in China since the Song Dynasty. It has a history of 1,500 years and is widely used in Chinese medicine, Feng Shui and Astrology.
The five elements of the element originally originated from an obvious and simple overview of time - in terms of the day and season of the past - and how the structure and even the symptoms began to appear.
Five Elements and Yijing Astrology
Each of the nine stars in the Yijing astrology is associated with one of these five elements. The connection is as follows:
9 - fire
2,5,8 - Earth
6,7 - metal
1 - water
3,4 - Wood
By looking at the table below, you can see how the elements interact with nine different stars.
Same element
As far as the relationship in Yijing Astrology is concerned, if two people share the same elements [such as metal], then they usually blend well together, and this relationship can be considered a more brother/sister character. One. They just get along very well without too many conflicts.
Mother and child cycle
Each element supports the next element in the ' or ' mother' loop. Earth supports metal, metal supports water, water supports wood, wood supports fire, and fire supports the earth.
The element that provides support is called the mother, and the element that receives support is called the child.
Therefore, in the mother/child relationship, there is one giver and recipient. For the giver, it tends to be very tired and sometimes even lost - a bit like having a baby! Again, by being a child and getting support from your mother, this can be enjoyable, helpful and easy!
Control element
Each of the five elements, and then indeed each of the nine stars, has an element opposite it in the five-line system to check them. Literal translation is control. I prefer to see it as a more positive feature - to protect, nurture and ensure that they don't fail. In a relationship, the element that performs the "control" checks for another element. However, at the receiving end, it does feel the "controller" from time to time. A little too full! Finding the right balance is the solution!
Here are the different relationships:
9 Fire Star controls 6 heavens and 7 lake stars
2 Earth, 5 T' ai Chi and 8 mountain stars control 1 Mercury
6 heavens and 7 lake stars control 3 thunders and 4 wind stars
1 Water Star controls 9 Mars
3 Thunder&4 Wood Stars control 2 Earths, 5 T' ai Chi and 8 Mountain Stars
When the metals [6 and 7] become too cold, fragile or inflexible, a little ignition makes them more ductile.
When water - as in a river or lake - is out of control, it actually requires the earth to form a river bank and water boundary.
When the fire is out of control, water helps to reduce it.
When plants [wood elements from thunder and wind] are out of control, they need a little metal to trim them to maintain their shape [6 and 7 metal stars].
The Earth itself - represented by 2, 5 and 8 stars - if it does not have the roots of plant life to hold them together [3 and 4 Jupiter], it will become bare or become dust.
I Ching Astrology Profiles
A flaw in the I Ching Astrology system reveals that all of us have three different stars in our make-up. When we look at this birth star, how internal stars and aliens [and their assigned five lines] interact with another file - a family member, a lover or a colleague - it becomes fascinating. The arrangement is endless, interesting and comprehensive.
