Feng Shui, design psychology and beds

I love Feng Shui! Whether you believe that this ancient Asian design method is based on ancient wisdom or superstition, Feng Shui contains some valuable principles that are simply fun! Consider these feng shui rules:

- Don't let your feet sleep against the bedroom door.

- Place the bed so you can see the door.

- Do not sleep next to the wall with the meter box.

- Do not place the headboard on the bathroom wall.

So where do my husband and I put the bed in accordance with these rules? There are four walls in our bedroom, one wall is a closet, one wall is in the bathroom, one wall is the door leading to the garden, and the last side [oh, mine!] has a meter box on it! Don't worry, feng shui has a variety of rules to solve any problem, including the use of crystals and indoor plants to offset negative energy.

Design psychology based on years of scientific research has drawn some of the same conclusions used by feng shui practitioners based on years of experience. But design psychology boldly refuted the rules of Feng Shui, that is, you can't sleep with your feet toward the bedroom door.

Design psychology creates a space that supports happiness and happiness. The bedroom is a space for personal renovation and enjoyment, and you need to pay attention to the details such as the placement of the bed to ensure comfort. As a main attraction, the bed is usually the focal point of the room. Therefore, align the headboard directly to the doorway near the wall. This creates a visual extension of the room and emphasizes the importance of the bed. The larger reason for placing the bed facing the door is for a sense of security. When people can easily see the door, they feel safe.

The bed represents the beginning and the end of life. In the past, people were born, born, and they died in the same bed. You spend more time in bed than any other furniture. Therefore, follow the rules of Feng Shui or design psychology and point the head of the bed toward the entrance to the room. This position not only strengthens the signal of the bed in your design, but also makes you feel comfortable and sleep well!
