Use colors on the science board. You want color but don't have too much color. Excessive doing so will be bad for you. A color scheme is usually good. If the second is a border supplement, you can use two. Handwritten reports should be in blue or black ink, and anything printed should be black. If possible, get the color that matches the theme.
