Acupuncture, high cholesterol and high triglycerides

One of the most prominent health problems in the United States today is high cholesterol. Most people think that high cholesterol and high triglycerides are a cardiovascular disease or a health problem caused by heart and blood vessel problems. In fact, this is actually the ability of the body to properly break down and digest or metabolize lipoproteins [fat and protein molecular chains].

These cholesterol and/or triglyceride forms of lipoproteins accumulate in the blood, which greatly increases the risk of cardiovascular disease.

Western medicine focuses on the treatment of high cholesterol symptoms to prevent cardiovascular disease, but little attention is paid to the underlying causes of cholesterol accumulation: weak metabolism, poor diet, and unhealthy lifestyles of patients. Instead, it relies on statins, which have a very high tendency to cause serious side effects, while acupuncture and Chinese medicine provide the same benefits without being affected by statins, so there are no strong side effects.

Lifestyle and nutrition/dietary changes can greatly reduce a person's cholesterol because they can increase how the body breaks down cholesterol itself and limit cholesterol-induced food intake.

If you have high cholesterol or high triglycerides, they can: increase the consumption of low cholesterol foods such as fresh cold water fish, apples, bananas, carrots, garlic [this is a good increase because it is very beneficial to this Purpose], olive oil, grape fruit [do not take if you take statins], oatmeal and bran. In addition, a separate increase in niacin intake can lower cholesterol levels [see supplemental doctors before starting], Co-Q10, premium EPA-DHA Omega 3 fish oil, vitamins B5, C, E, and chromium picolinate, and lecithin It is an important supplement in people's diet.

People must also reduce the harmful cholesterol that affects foods such as tobacco products, sugar, greasy/fried foods, wine, beer, cheese and red meat. In addition to these recommendations, the National Institutes of Health recommends taking 2 grams of phytosterols [phytosterols] per day to fight cholesterol. Phytosterols help the body reabsorb cholesterol into the large intestine and eliminate it from the body.

Regarding lifestyle recommendations, regular exercise must be done to reduce cholesterol in the blood vessels. Instead of high-sugar drinks like soda; drink oolong tea, black tea or green tea in its place, which helps the body metabolize the fat consumed. This is especially effective when drinking tea after a meal.

In addition, acupuncture and Chinese herbal formulas are used to treat cholesterol and high triglycerides. These drugs focus on the potential weakness of patients and the symptoms of high cholesterol and its effects on high blood pressure. Acupuncture focuses on potential weaknesses, especially herbal formulas that have been shown to be effective against high cholesterol levels. Within two to three months of treatment with acupuncture and herbal preparations, patients should begin to see their cholesterol levels drop.

With changes in diet and lifestyle, and the proper use of acupuncture and Chinese herbal formulas, people can use healthy and beneficial tools to lower cholesterol and triglycerides and avoid cardiovascular complications from these conditions.
