The "Longevity Qigong" with Master Kaohsiung is a short project that stipulates that Chinese Qigong practitioners have used twelve closed Qigong exercises for centuries. The master of the university is Dr. Yang's first Tai Chi coach. He respects and highly agrees with his books, DVDs and teachings. Masters of colleges and universities first taught Dr. Yang in Taiwan in 1962. Now, at the age of 80, he still starts practicing with Tai Chi and Qigong every day. These twelve simple restricted qigong exercises are part of his personal way of life and help him stay active, happy and healthy.
The first part of the program is a demonstration of twelve exercises. The first of the twelve exercises is the treatment of vocal respiration, which teaches the classic six treatment sounds. These help clean your internal organs and nourish your body with fresh air and energy. The next five exercises focus on maintaining a strong brain, ears, eyes, nose and teeth. It involves self-massage techniques and slow gentle movements. From there, the program moves down the body, teaching the neck and throat, arms and shoulders, chest, abdomen exercises [I will warn you that one of the exercises in this section is an exercise you might want to determine, or you You will see the strange looks and problems of those who see you. This is not something to do in the park, legs and toes. The simple procedure is designed to keep you healthy with age and can be completed in half an hour. .
This demonstration part is demonstrated by the headmaster and tells the story of what he is doing and why. The show was shot in a beautiful outdoor setting and you can clearly see the Goldman Sachs presentation. The narrative is also very clear.
Next is the command section of the program, where Grandmaster Kao actually teaches the camera. I am very happy that he has done this because I prefer the programs that the lecturers give lectures and explain to the camera, as if they were students rather than sounds. The master's English is very good, he is easy to understand. I like to see and listen to some of his wisdom who have had so many years of experience. He has experienced each of the twelve exercises and provided guidance. He will demonstrate again, so simply insert this DVD and it's easy to do it, and practice with the DVD so you can learn and practice at the same time.
I think this is a good complement to a person's qigong resource library. It didn't contain much information like Dr. Yang's courses, but it was a pleasure to see a teacher from Dr. Yang performing and teaching the exercises he continued in the 1980s. I would recommend anyone who wants to learn some simple quigong exercises to include their longevity and health programs.
