The Art Show Wot We Did! Morecambe Central Library 14th May 2016 to 16th July 2016 Opening on 14th May, The Art Show Wot We Did! is a tribute exhibition of new art to celebrate Eric Morecambe's 90th birthday. Curated by Morecambe Artist Colony it will "take over" Morecambe Library for two months with new paintings, art photography, 3D objects including ceramics and digital work, with a hunt the clues quiz for children. All the exhibits have been inspired by Eric Morecambe's life and his love for his home town. Opening during library open times it will run to 16th July, the first day of Morecambe's famous kite festival. The Art Show Wot We Did! will run  in parallel to the "Bring me Sunshine" exhibition of memorabilia in the Eric Morecambe collection on loan to Lancaster City Museum. Entry is free. Booking is not required.
