Photography: Studio Lighting
Learn how to use studio lighting with award winning photographer Sara Porter. During this half day course, at Kinetik Studios learn how to build up your lighting from just ambient light to using two lights. Sara will go through the technical aspects of studio lighting, including the limitations and how to overcome common errors and provide you with the skills to not only be able to use the lights but also to experiment with them to create your own style. There will be the opportunity to work with some of the different lighting set ups with a professional model. Tea and coffee will be provided during the morning session and the small group size will provide plenty of opportunity to practice what you learn and to ask questions. This course is for people who have a digital slr and know how to use the manual settings on their camera. If you do not know how to use the manual settings please see our course "Getting Out Of Auto". For the course you will need a digital slr with a hotshoe.
